Season 2, Episode 19 “I Only Have Eyes For You”
So, this was a very clever episode. Like, a lot of it didn’t make sense (more on that later) but I really liked how the climax of the episode came together with the overall arc of the season in a nifty way. A+!

Season 2, Episode 13 “Surprise”
It’s Buffy’s seventeenth birthday, and she’s having nightmares that Drusilla is back and trying to kill Angel. Buffy is freaked, but at first Angel (and a little bit Giles) totally doubt her and convince her not to trust her intuition. Why don’t these dudes realize that Buffy is just going to be right most of the time and just stop getting in her way?!
The Actual Top 60 Disney Songs, Ranked Very Objectively By Us
So recently The Ringer made a list of the top 40 Disney songs* and naturally we were completely incensed by it. Both Keets and I immediately responded, about five minutes apart, by saying, “I Won’t Say (I’m In Love) is #36? I’m mad already,” almost word-for-word.
Naturally, we needed to rectify this and provide the internet with a better list. And by “better,” we mean that we here at Adversion agree with it. Whatever else, you can rest assured that Megara’s fabulous song about not wanting to be in love is way higher than #36.
To complete our extremely scientific ranking, we each ranked the songs on this list from 1 to 60 and then sorted the total scores, lowest to highest. Whoever liked the song the most got to write about it.

Season 2, Episode 1: “When She Was Bad”
Buffy comes back from a summer with her dad in LA with a new haircut and a new attitude. Apparently the trauma of dying and being brought back to life in season 1’s premiere has had an effect, and that effect was to turn Buffy rather… chilly. She’s withdrawn from everyone, and even when Angel comes to warn her about the Anointed One, she pretends not to have missed him. Later, she disses Angel at the club in favor of doing a sexy dance with Xander, at which point both Willow and I became convinced that Buffy was actually bewitched. Even Cordelia thinks Buffy’s being a jerk and warns her to get over herself.
Veronica Mars 4×02: “Chino and the Man”
This episode moves the mystery forward and shows even more clearly how messed-up the adult Veronica is.

Season 1, Episode 7: “Angel”
So as we know from some previous episode, the Anointed is a little boy named Colin. The Master, that super wrinkly dude with janky nostrils, is going to use him as a weapon against the Slayer. He decides to send a group of vampires cleverly called The Three to get Buffy just as, depressed at being single and lusting after the distant Angel, she slumps home from the Bronze alone. The three of them nearly overpower her, but Angel comes to save her. That’s kind of annoying, isn’t it? Like, Buffy is the Slayer, why does she need Angel to save her?

Season 1, Episode 1: “Welcome to the Hellmouth”
In this episode we meet Buffy Summers, a Normal Teenaged Girl with Flippy Hair and Barrettes who has just moved to Sunnydale–because she burned down the gym at her last school and got kicked out. Unfortunately, Sunnydale is majorly infested with vampires. Which is coincidentally why Buffy got kicked out, because she’s actually a vampire slayer, which her clueless mother hasn’t figured out even though Buffy basically gives it away in every conversation (more on that later). Buffy meets Xander, a lovestruck skateboarding dweeb; Willow, an eager nerd who has an inexplicable crush on Xander; Jesse, Xander’s creepy gross friend; Cordelia, the mean and popular jerk; and Giles, the librarian. Only it turns out Giles already totally knows about how Buffy is the One Girl In A Generation with the skill and strength to fight vampires.
