The New York Times writes a great article about the dystopian fiction of Middle Eastern writers.

The Millions has an essay on Ladislaw versus Lydgate, and Middlemarch‘s resistance to “good-on-paper” marriages.

Telegraph covers the controversy over Me Before You. Frankly, it looks so terrible on the level of writing and character that actually seeing it, to properly judge for ourselves whether it does or does not imply that the lives of all disabled people are not worth living, does not appeal to us!)
